Thanks for purchasing an Organic Theme! We have provided this easy guide to setting up your theme properly within a short time. The instructions below are created assuming you already have a hosting provider, domain name and the WordPress platform from wordpress.org installed on your server. If not, the process can be confusing for beginners unfamiliar with hosting and installing WordPress. As a result we created Kahuna Host, where you can easily purchase a hosting package with a free domain name and the WordPress platform is automatically installed on your server — without ever having to touch a line of code or use an FTP program. With hosting, a domain and WordPress installed, follow the instructions below:
- Install and Activate your theme following the easy upload and installation instructions here.
- Upon activation of the theme, navigate to the Appearance > Theme Options section within your WordPress admin. You may be prompted to install and activate the Options Framework plugin. If so, install and activate the plugin.
- Configure and Save the theme options.
- Add pages, posts and content to your site. If you would like to install the content from our theme demos to be used as a guide, you can download the demo content file and follow the installation instructions within our support forums.
- You’re on your way to creating a great website!
