NonProfit Theme Legend

This legend explains the distribution of content and management for the NonProfit Theme, as seen in the demo. The NonProfit Theme requires the Options Framework plugin to manage theme options.

1. The Custom Header

You can upload a logo or image of your choosing to fill this location of the theme within the Appearance > Header settings of the WordPress administration. View the Custom Header tutorial.

2. The Menu

You can manage the pages, categories and links added to your menu within the Appearance > Menus settings of the WordPress administration. View the Custom Menu tutorial.

3. The Featured Slider

Content is added to the featured slider as posts of a category selected within the Appearance > Theme Options > Homepage Settings. Images are added using Featured Images, and video is added using the Featured Video field within the post.

4. Homepage Widgets

Widgets can be added to the featured banner area within the Appearance > Widgets settings of the WordPress administration. You can display text, links, a calendar, social media links and much more within this section.

5. Middle Featured Pages

The middle featured pages display the excerpt and featured image of the page selected within the Appearance > Theme Options > Homepage Settings. Images are added using Featured Images. This section can optionally be displayed within Appearance > Theme Options > Display Settings.

6. Bottom Featured Page

The bottom featured page displays the full content of the page selected within the Appearance > Theme Options > Homepage Settings. This section can optionally be displayed within Appearance > Theme Options > Display Settings.

7. Featured Tabber

The featured tabber displays the most recent posts of a category selected within the Appearance > Theme Options > Homepage Settings. Images are added using Featured Images, and videos are added using the Featured Video field within the post.

8. Footer Widgets

Widgets can optionally be added to the footer within the Appearance > Widgets settings of the WordPress administration. If no widgets are added to the footer, nothing will be displayed.

Could I release the home page widget at the right of the Featured Slider?
I can modify the size of the Feature slider on function.php (I wrote somewhere)
I need to show the featured slider all across the page. It could be possible?
    Thanks!

      Hi Vanina,

You can modify the size of the slider within the header, functions and stylesheet. It would require some customization, so we recommend using the support forums for guidance.

    A pre-purchase question.

Are there shortcodes for adding columns in this theme?

    •  by  Jeff

      Hi Monique,

There are blocks of code you can use to that end – w just haven’t went so far as to make them into short codes. for columns. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Pre-Purchase question. How customizable is the color scheme on this template?

    •  by  Jeff

      Hi Susan,

You can completely customize the theme colors via the stylesheet. There are relatively few colors which make up the entirety of the theme, so the process can be pretty simple depending on the actual color changes you’re after. The moderators in our support forum can advise you about making those changes

    Hi!

    Thanks!

    This is a pre-purchase question.
How customizable are the fonts? Is this something I could easily change in the style sheet?
Secondly, do your themes support the use of Google web fonts?
    Thanks!

Fonts can be changed in the stylesheet. Google fonts are not present in the NonProfit Theme by default, but can be easily integrated.
