This legend explains the distribution of content and management for the Restaurant Theme, as seen in the demo. The Restaurant Theme requires the Options Framework plugin to manage theme options.

1. The Custom Header
You can upload a logo or image of your choosing to fill this location within the Appearance > Header settings of the WordPress administration. View the Custom Header tutorial for further instructions related to uploading your logo.
2. The Menu
You can manage the pages, categories and links added to your menu within the Appearance > Menus settings of the WordPress administration. View the Custom Menu tutorial.
3. The Featured Slider
Content is added to the featured slider as posts of a category selected within the Appearance > Theme Options > Slideshow. Images are added using Featured Images, and videos are added using the Featured Video field within the post. This section can optionally be hidden or displayed within the Appearance > Theme Options > Display Settings.
4. Homepage Teaser Posts
The homepage teaser section displays posts of a category selected within the Appearance > Theme Options > Homepage Settings. Images are added using Featured Images. This section can optionally be displayed within Appearance > Theme Options > Display Settings.
5. Homepage Featured Page
The featured page section displays a page of your choice selected within the Appearance > Theme Options > Homepage Settings. This section (including the homepage sidebar) can optionally be displayed within Appearance > Theme Options > Display Settings.
6. Homepage Sidebar Widgets
Widgets can be added to the homepage sidebar within the Appearance > Widgets settings of the WordPress administration. You can display text, links, a calendar, social media links and much more within this section. In addition, the homepage sidebar has the option to display a feedburner subscribe widget.
7. Footer Widgets
Widgets can optionally be added to the footer within the Appearance > Widgets settings of the WordPress administration. If no widgets are added to the footer, the section will not be displayed.
Additional Theme Options
Background
The main background image and color can be changed within the Appearance > Background settings of the WordPress administration. View the tutorial here.
Food and Drink Menu
The food and drink menu is applied as a page template. Menu items are then added to the page template within the Food Menu > Add Menu Item settings of the WordPress administration. You can categorize your menu and optionally hide or display various sections of the menu within the Appearance > Theme Options > Food Menu settings.
Custom Navigation Menu
The main navigation menu links can be customized within the Appearance > Menus settings. View the tutorial here.
Link and Highlight Colors
Link and highlight colors for the Restaurant Theme can be changed within the Appearance > Theme Options > Colors settings.
