The New Studio Theme

We’re excited to announce the release of a new theme, the Studio Theme. You can view the demo here. Our latest addition to the theme collection was created to not have the initial appearance of a WordPress theme. As a designer, the only issue I have with WordPress themes is that most of them are instantly identifiable as a WordPress theme. Whether it’s an obvious blog layout, overwhelming amounts of content, a long horizontally scrolling home page or what I have dubbed “layer cake” design, most WordPress themes have a distinct appearance that is saturating the internet. The Studio Theme provides something different.

I find that many people in need of a website for their business have no desire to blog. The Studio Theme was created to fill their needs. It has an abundance of page templates, and the option for fixed height pages with different layouts. While the theme does still contain a blog page template and blogging capabilities, it’s not the focus of the theme. The Studio Theme is for small businesses, freelancers and studios that are too busy for blogging, but need a presence on the web for their business.

I hate it when y’all come out with new themes because I feel the urge to start some new project just to be able to utilize it! I also love the revamp of the Portfolio theme as well!

  It should scroll in most browsers. I did notice a scrolling issue with Firefox, and we will look in to it. Thanks!

Is there a social media utility for this theme? Can you add Facebook, Twitter badges?

I am interested in purchasing your studio theme, but you say it has no blogging capabilities, yet in the demo there is a “blog” tab which shows blogging capabilities. Is there any way I would be able to do light blogging with this theme?
Also, would I be able to upload a custom logo and change the colors?

  The description states that while blogging isn’t the primary focus of the theme, it comes with a blog page template, and everything necessary to maintain a blog. You shouldn’t have any problem blogging with the theme, light or otherwise.
  
  A custom logo can be added via Appearance –> Headers, and the colors can be changed with edits to the stylesheet.

  Some configuration would be required, but you can absolutely use a plugin such as WooCommerce with this theme.
